Today is the day I commit to a better life. Today is the day I make the decision to be the best version of me I can be. To put myself first so I can be the best for my husband, my children, my family and friends!
So I sign up with excitement for Round 1 12 WBT 2012 and let Michelle Bridges be my personal trainer.
I have previously done two rounds with her before but hadn't given it my own and let myself down at the end and now I'm back to where I started so this time it's about commitment, dedication, honestly and integrity. To be a woman of my word, to get the right head set, to set SMART goals, to train and eat healthy and do what ever it takes!
When signing up we go through PRE-Season Tasks. The most daunting is probably the 'before photo' which we do in our underwear. I'm not going to scare you all but will show you what I look like in my training gear.
Task 2 - Get Real - what are the excuses holding you back? This was a bit of an eye opener because you always have excuses but I guess it's here that you realise that these excuses are real and they stop you.
Things like I'm too tired, I'm too busy - well WHAT are you going to do about it??? Am I important??? Yes I am, so what am I going to do to make sure I am the best version of me so I can be the best for others!?
It's been an exciting and eye opening time doing all of the pre-season tasks.
