Week 2 - Mon 20th Feb

Today is the start of a new week and I'm pretty excited lots of planning in the diary for workouts and a few red flags.

1st Red Flag is TODAY.  My DS8 (darling son 8yrs) is home from school today - pupil free day so I can't make any day gym classes so I organise to go to an evening class great I'm happy with that.  Just worried about being home all day and any potential mindless eating!

We go to visit my hubby at his work at Flinder's Uni and it's O Week so there is so much happening with people everywhere!  There is a subway on campus so for lunch at least that's a healthy choice for me.  There's a bit of a walk to go down hill however what goes down must go back UP. 

 It doesn't look like much of a hill but OH boy what a work out.  Spewing I forgot to wear my HRM it would have been interesting to have know how much of a short burn that would have been.

They were giving so much stuff away for free on campus.  I was very good and resisted the temptation of the Fairy Floss they were giving away but my son got some and as you can see it was as big as his head!

Did grab these free mini coke zero's.  They were ice cold and it was a warm day so tasty!


Hit the gym tonight for IGT (Indoor Group Training) OH BOY!  What a work out that was - mini stations all around the room it was really good through with some cardio inbetween sets.  After IGT (cause I'm a sucker for hard work) I went to do an Aqua Class together I burnt 799 calories I think I've worked out how to make the HRM work for me. 

 I turned it on a second before I got into the pool so it had already picked up a good Heart Rate and keep going probably missed a beat or two from all my jumping but I was happy better than only 37 calories!
