Accelerator Day - Tues 17th April

On the 12wbt program - Tuesday's (brough in about week 9) is when Michelle Bridges bring's in what is called Accelerator day - this is the day that you don't have any simple carbs, sugars or fruit.  As I have done a few rounds before I knew this was coming up but still look forward to taking it on as it does help you give a boost to your system the day before weigh in day.

I find that if I plan out my snacks then I will be able to grab and go easily rather than having to decide what to have.  Although I have a work function today it's only for two hours so I figure that it won't upset my schedule too much.  I won't give in to the regular BIG lunch at the end with everyone or engage in the sweet treats that are sometimes on offer!

So today didn't start out the best I woke up late and so instead of having a protein based breakfast I decide I still need something in my stomach so I stop off at the local foodland to get an Iced Coffee Lite milk.  It's probably packed with sugar - sigh not a good start but I can't eat fruit however I'm thinking that an apple would have been safer!

At the end of today's sale's event I stay for lunch to enjoy some cauliflower soup with my manager it's quite spicy for me and probably has full fat cream and milk in it but it certainly hits the spot I'm not hungry again until the afternoon snack which is really good.

I bought some nuts on the weekend ready for today and prepacked them so I can grab them and go and also wanted to make sure that I drank my full total of water as I'm sure I have been a bit short some days so I fill up a 2 lt bottle and put it in the fridge as well as my two regular drink bottles as all together it makes up 3litres which for my body weight is what I should be drinking in a day!

Hit the Zumba circuit tonight again at the gym 664 calories and then with Kylie 568 - I have started taking Berocca in the morning as a Vitamin B pick me up especially to help one some day's where I don't think I am eating well enough to get my full daily needs.
