1st Injury - Friday 9th March

Today I have suffered my first major injury stopping me in my tracks.  My ankle was quite sore just from 'walking' around at the shops yesterday and so after getting the children from school I went arount to the physio to get it checked out.  It was quite a sharp pain when I walked on it under the ankle on the outside of my foot.    

The physio was great but probably as baffled as I was when he pushed and pulled my ankle in all different directions and I said no, no, no to feeling any pain LOL.  I'm hopeless I know.... he decided to strap up my foot and said that I've probably just over used the muscles or moved in one way and there is just some inflamation.  
I also get the orders to 'rest' for a few days... sigh... just when I was ready to 'get up and go go go' I'm benched!  It's also it's a learning curve which will teach me now to 'watch' my food intake as Michelle said 80% comes down to what you put in your mouth.  

I had a work function on friday so wasn't able to do my regular Zumba and then as I'm on 'rest' I had to give up an event that was planned a big walk but that's ok.

I also contact the PT for Saturday to let her know I'm injured, I'm honestly kind of hoping that she will say that's ok stay home but I ask her if we can work around it and she's really happy that I'm thinking positively!
