I had to write about a mindset lesson that holds true for me so I decided to write about Robot Mode. I've written about it before and even had a reply from Michelle on facebook about it so that has inspired me to just keep going, one foot infront of the other and just do it no matter what... here is what I submitted...
Organise your Robot
The biggest mindset I
have learnt from12wbt is being organised and going into what Michelle
describes as Robot Mode or JDFI.
So I say that you need
to organise your Robot! Robot's are programmed to just what they are
told, the don't argue or question your motive's so if I program my
plan of action with what I am doing with my workouts then I just
follow the plan!
It's true there are
days motivation leaves you, or days where you never seem to have
enough time to get everything done! The days that you are sooo sore
that you can't contemplate getting up! If you have a plan to just
get up, go into Robot Mode and JFDI then we don't need to think we
just do. Then the workout is done, you won't be waiting for the
perfect moment to go or you could be waiting for a while...
I have a diary which I
bought for $3 at the start of 12wbt and I love it, I can't live
without it! I write down at the start of every week all of my
workout times and set them as 'appointment's' so I KNOW I will ALWAYS
have the time to do my workout. No matter what happens it's an
appointment that I have with myself.
Also if it's booked in
I know I don't want to miss it because I might not be able to find
the time or energy to reschedule it! Make yourself a priority not
an option!
No more guilt of
missing a workout, no more wasted opportunities. You came, you did,
you conquered! Your important and you deserve it!
