Wednesday as we all know is weigh in and I was literally peaking through my fingers hoping to see something good. PHEW!!!! 400gms down. I'll take it. It's been a full on week with the kids ALL FINALLY back at school. I have done a lot of cardio based things so was really hoping for a good result but thinking that my body really needed a body jolt into reality!
Yesterday I also got to catch up with a very good friend. We meet at Macca's so I was sooo looking forward to getting a coffee there and a piece of raisin toast as I had planned that for my breakfast. I realised once I got home however I forgot to ask for 'skim milk' in my coffee. Eek! I wonder how many calories that is... (will look on calorie king and add it in don't worry).
Then today (Thursday) we started our usual morning routine however when we got to my son's swimming we found that the place is still closed for the fixing of the roof so I took him to school. I came home as I wasn't feeling quite feeling the best with the start of a head cold so can you believe I came home and slept for nearly 3 hours! I was toying up with the idea of going to Zumba (11am session) but when I decided that I should get ready to go (with my foggy head) I realised it was 11.10 so figured yeah not today LOL.
I did make it to Zumba in the evening and of course that was great as I got to help with a song on stage! I love being up there!!! I only burnt 500 calories but I didn't push it as much as my head was still a little foggy and also Dave is quite unwell so we took the tempo down a bit.
Also a trip to the Chiro today to make sure everything is well in place. The chiro seemed quite interested in my injured ankle and said that it is pulling on my back muscles as they were quite tight. She played around with my leg and wiggled it a bit and magically my back just seemed to go into place! Wow I do realise that everything in your body is connected and one thing affects another but to see it / feel it / it's completely amazing!
