Sorry I haven't posted for a while..... as you see from my last post things have been up and down and round and round and round and then all sorts of zig zag!!!! LOL
I had a meeting with the school today about 'how are we going to deal with this and although we asked Autism SA to attend they didn't get there until 2.30pm for a 1pm meeting!
I had only allowed an hour for this meeting as I am trying to get everything ready to go away to Perth for FINALE!!!! However the meeting took 2 hours and could have gone longer if I had not needed to go and do the school pick up. Also after this meeting I was emotionally drained and not functioning very well at all.
It is good that we got some good 'rules and guidelines on the table'. My son will now go to school from 9.30am - 12noon and even if he decides to do no work and sit and stare at a wall then he still will stay at school until 12 so it gives me some time to get out and about. However if he is violent then it means that I still have to go and get him so it could mean that I still get a 10am phone call however we are hoping that won't happen as we have juggled around his learning timetable too.
Trying to pack for finale is a night mare. I only need to take minimum stuff but there is a lot of 'what if's'. There is going to be warm weather and so I don't actually have any clothes for a warmer climate which is an issue in itself. Oh well I guess that's a good reason to go shopping!!!
