Plan for the Unplanned - Sat 24 March

Today I get a txt from my PT at 6.30am to say that she is sick and training is cancelled so I get out of bed at 6.30am to grab the gym time table to see what is on.  

WOW before 12wbt I would have just gone - cool a day off and rolled over.  Actually before 12wbt I didn't even have a trainer!!!

There's no classes that I like (I'm not going back to the step death trap for a while or the pump tears) so I decide to hit the Glitz Studio for Zumba to use up my scoopon.  Worked through 453 calories as we had an instructor today that was only Zumba Gold qualified.  She is actually a very good friend of mine so it was a good class to get some technique and some of the slower routines down pat, so I didn't mind the lower burnt calories.  

Had a good chat to my friend after the class and ask her about the instructor course and she really recommends that I do it.  We use to do adult jazz together so she knows how much I love dance and that I would really get into it.  It's just getting the confidence to do it!  My friend said she has been dancing for about a year and it wasn't till someone else told her she should go the course so definately something to think about.  I'm quite honoured that only after a month I've been told that I should go and do it!

Then zoom up to the gym to do another Zumba with Lisa to show her my hip movement improvement she said good work so it has been worth the effort, also hoping to improve the shape of my body!  Smashed through 690 calories with her which was great especially as tonight I had to go to another 'all you can eat' birthday party.

I was very controlled this time as you know what sometimes the sweat and tears really aren't worth the effort to burn off the calories that you have eaten.  I would rather the workout be for fun or to build fitness and not feel like I'm working out so I can play catch up!  Hence the reason for my picture ... tee hee
