Zumba Challenge Day 2 - Sat 17 March

Day 2 of the Zumba Challenge (ZC) I'm so excited I just want to go and Zumba all the time and I think that until I'm half way through the session and then I just want to crawl up and die LOL.

I go to my regular PT session today and did 409 calories which was really good a lot of hill runs and relays so it got my legs working a fair bit it was quite warm today too!

Then up to the gym for my 2nd Zumba class - 2/2 not bad!  This one with Lisa as she's a professional exballroom dancer she is great to watch move and we get to do a lot more body moving steps.  I am absolutely dripping with sweat by the end of this session and I look at my HRM.  It's got on there 760 I nearly have a panic attack because I know I worked really hard during that session and though if I end up smashing a PB with her I don't think I will ever be able to beat it.

Lisa grabs me at the end of the session and said she wan't to talk to me about technique.  I tell her that I worked so hard and burnt many calories so I am happy and she said to me I shouldn't be so concerned about the calories out anymore as I know the steps and know how to put the effort in but now we need to work on technique so she shows me a 'figure of 8' type movement with my hips and say this is what we are going to work on for the next 30 days.  

Wow I'm so grateful that she took the time to physically show me and break it down for me and tells me what I should feel and where.  Even after 10 seconds of doing this with her she was right I could feel it immediately in my back and my waist wow what an improvement I could move a lot better too.  I'm certainly going to be working on this!
