Caution - Monday 18 June

Today I am acting as if I am 'walking on egg shell's' - not really but I'm just using caution with my back and hoping not to re-injury myself!

I decided not to do the traditional monday step class as I didn't think that movement would be best for my back so I did the straight and strong which was just a lower impact of Body Attack and just hung back in the corner.  I must have looked like a total unco and I only just got in the class as it was starting the warm up so I couldn't even have word with the instructor to say 'I'm not being unco I'm just using caution'.  I did speak to her at the end though and she said she figured something was up because she knows me and that I have the ability and choose the right low impact options so yay for me!

After that I decided to do Aero-Sculpt because it's basically a toning class and I thought that I can do mostly.  However this class she decided to use a lot of the fit balls which started pulling on my upper back which I was worried would upset my lower back so I put the fitball down and still did what I could.   I still did the weight toning of my arms and also some of the crunches as it helped to stretch out my back but I wasn't as gung-ho as what I normally would be.

It felt good to still move around and in the evening I still did my 7pm Zumba class by then by back was still a little sore but I enjoyed it.
